Starting out in 2010 as a mobile mechanic, our family run business has gone from strength to strength over the years, offering our customers a high quality service at very competitive prices, in a timely manner.

 

I have been around cars since an early age, and have had a keen interest in engineering and motorsport all my life.

 

Having started my first job whilst still at school as a go kart mechanic at a local track, this sparked my interest further.

After leaving school, I went on to study motorsport engineering, whilst also being a part of a formula ford race team.

​

From there I moved onto working for Robin Hood Sports Cars, a kit car company that was based in Mansfield.  Here I designed and developed new kit cars

​

I then went to work for Toyota, at their factory in Derby, where I spent 5 years learning the "Toyota Way", and all their quality systems, JIT etc

​

As the recession started to bite in 2010, I felt ready to start by myself, as a mobile mechanic.  A big risk at the time, but felt confident, given my previous experience from all angles of the industry, and the low running costs, that the business could be a success.

​

With experience of brand new vehicles and their complex systems, but also experience of older classic vehicles, with their "knacks" and a "anythings possible" attitude from racing, there wasn't anything I couldn't do.....I was only limited by location and facilities.

​

Which is why in September 2017, I took the decision to open a garage, to be a one stop shop, where every job can be tackled, not to be limited by weather, or daylight, or working on the side of a road.

​
